AMI Introduces New Management Platform Arm Neoverse CSS Chiplet
SAN JOSE, CALIFORNIA – October 16, 2025 -- AMI®, the global leader in silicon firmware for Arm® platforms, announces a complete out-of-band management solution for Arm Neoverse® CSS-based solutions, leveraging its SatMC controller interface and AMI OnSil™ host silicon firmware. This solution is currently on display at the 2025 OCP Global Summit from October 13-16 and is now available to integrators through the AMI Developer Program for Arm Total Design.
“As AI workloads push infrastructure toward more optimized silicon, out-of-band management and firmware are essential to scaling compute efficiently,” said Eddie Ramirez, Vice President of Go-to-market, Infrastructure Business, Arm. “Through our collaboration in the Arm Total Design ecosystem, AMI is helping accelerate the development of Neoverse CSS-based solutions with advanced firmware and management tools that simplify integration and reduce time to market.”
The SatMC solution included in AMI OnSil is a drop-in module for integrators needing to interpret telemetry data and optimize control over accelerators, NICs, DPUs, and CXLs via out-of-band BMC management. Included in the solution are the necessary host control APIs, PLDM support through AMI MegaRAC OneTree™ or OpenBMC™ firmware, and an intuitive user interface driven by Redfish®.
“AMI’s advanced capabilities with AMI OnSil out-of-band management are a natural extension of AMI’s mission to simplify and accelerate development of custom silicon powered by Arm Neoverse CSS,” said Srivatsan Ramachandran, SVP of Strategic Partnerships at AMI. “AMI further accelerates these programs through the AMI Developer Program for Arm Total Design, lowering the barrier for ASIC developers and platform integrators using Arm Neoverse CSS by enabling faster, more cost-effective innovations from concept to commercialization.”
The SatMC solution from AMI is currently on display during the 2025 OCP Global Summit at the San Jose Convention Center at AMI Booth A21. Please visit our OCP Global Summit mini-site for details and contact us for more information.
